Has the Bearings gone in my Hotpoint?

The drive belt keeps coming off my washer and it is very noisey during a wash, the belt will not even stay on for one "turn" we have the back off and have been trying to find out what the cause is, any help??

yep definatley sounds like drum bearings and spider support has gone. its a fairly big job that i probably wouldnt attempt if not done it before

does sound like your bearings have gone .to check unplug the machine and put your hand in side the door on the drum if you can move the drum up and down then you know the bearings have gone .hope this helps
