2003 new shape model. If any rain or moisture in the air, the windscreen wipers will not stop, even when rain has stopped for a few hours. No rain sensor on system. If direction indicators are switched on, wipers stop until indicators turn off. Wipers work as normal if they are switched on, fault only when they are supposedly turned off.

My wifes micra has deleloped the same problem. driving her made. disconnected and reconnected battery but this didnt help. could even find a fuse for the wipers to diconnnect them.
did you manage to sort you problem ??

Sonds like a bad earth connection some where. if you have had any work done on the car by a body shop ect then check that area first for loose or bad earth connections. Then check connections to all indicators and the wiper motor.Earth faults can cause some wierd problems and can be difficult to trace. Good luck.
