Ford Fiesta starts but then cuts out?

My G reg Ford Fiesta 1.1 starts first time with the manual choke. But then after driving for about 5 minutes it cuts out. Mainly when I'm slowing down to turn a corner. Then it wont turn over. I have to wait ten minutes then it will start. Can anyone help?

Sounds like your idle control valve, cheap and easy to replace.

Check the Distributor Cap. It may be dirty and need cleaned.
