How can I fix peeling iron-on letters on a football jersey?

How can I fix iron-on letters and numbers that are peeling at the corners. This is a nice football jersey I want to save.

don't use super glue if the letters are thin and rubbery... on mine, it literally melted the letter...

Modge Podge makes a product just for FABRIC. You can get it at any craft store, like Michaels. Modge Podge has many products for different surfaces. So, make sure you've got the right bottle and that it's the one in matte. Just brush it over the letters, going right over the edges of the letters coming loose and it should be done! Modge Podge dries so quickly! GL

what I did was put the iron on low setting (nylon)....put a baby's receiving blanket over it and slowly iron over, which causes the letters/ number edges to stick once again. I called the company and they refused to help me out with a jersey that was never worn (personalized though), for my 2 1/2 year old son. It works fine (I literally just finished).
GL!
