I have a potterton boiler that only fires up when hot water is switchted on.Once water gets to required temperature obviously the boiler is shut down. However the central heating runs cold as well. Boiler only re-ignited if i increase hot water tank thermostat.Central heating wont run at all without how water switched on. Is this something to do with the motorised valve.Help!
No the tank thermostat is set to 60 degrees and when the hot water tank reaches this it switches the boiler off.
But when this happens my radiators cool down all though the room thermostat temp has not been reached.
