my immobiliser is set and i am unable to unlock the immobiliser and get the car started. The red and green lights inside the car on the mirror continually flash when i try and start the car. Can you help? or suggest anything?

Got a s class 320 CDI 2003. Decides it only starts/phob open doors, after about 2 o'clock in the afternoon and not before (works fine, engine starts). Does anyone have any idea why it won't start before then? Could it be a clock issue or immobiliser issue?

I repeatedly press the fob at the mirror until indicators flash then press once more to get 2 flashes then she starts got used to it now

I am having the same problem with my 1995 c280, the car will not start when using the key in the ignition. I was reviewing some of the other blogs, and you guys were talking about using a key fob. And I would like to know what a key fob is, if that is the keyless entry remote, then I have BIG problem "I DONT HAVE THEM" so what would I do now to start my car? Oh yeah one more question, My door lock button on the dash does not lock and unlock the doors, what is causing this and what do I do to fix this?

I had the same problem with my 1996 C280. Try removing the batteries from your keyfob, then disconnect your car battery for a few seconds. Re-connect your car battery, insert the batteries in your fob, then unlock your car with the fob and insert the key into ignition slot, turning to position II for a few seconds. This solved it for me, hope it does the same for you.
