How do you reset a F1 fault on a Fisher & Paykel Dish drawer?

Used a liquid dishwasher cleaner (Finish) now we have the F1 flood error. Unit did it before and service guy reset it, How do you reset it?

The f1 fault is cased by a leak on the dishwasher.
It is activated when water gets to a dangerous level in the base of the appliance near to the PCB.

The main reason this happens is putting cups on the drop down shelves and when the lid comes down to seal the drawer it can't and leaks. If you look at the drawer when open there is a lip around it, if anything is proud of this lip the lid will not shut properly.

To rectify this problem you will have to disconnect the power and remove the bottom drawer and the dry up all the water in the base. If you leave the appliance long enough it will dry out by itself.

Once you have done this and the problem still comes back you will need and engineer as there is a problem with the lid motors or the seal’s.

Good luck hope this helps
