Unplug from the mains, unwind the old belt by turning the large
pulley and pulling sideways on the pulley at the same time. You will need to remove both 'stats or take the wires off them taking care that you know where to refit them and also, if the pressure bottle is mounted between the 'stats, you will need to pull off the narrow tube. Slacken the bolts holding the motor to the tub then put the new belt round the small pulley then drag it round the large one. Tension the new belt and tighten the motor bolts. The tension should be quite tight but not too tight so that it loads the motor and drum bearings. Assemble in reverse order.
