I have an Optima XL 4 alarm, could somebody tell me how to reset the alarm after the Tamper has been set off. The tamper light stays on.

you need to find the souce of your tamper i.e cover lose on detector or dmaged cable.have you had any work done recently that could of damaged cable? if the alarm is working but still shows tamper ten you may need to replace the battery as the light is showing service required.
