Kenwood Chef model a901E, serial no. 1535828?

When setting the blender onto the Chef and starting it, the blender started turning slow then slowed even more, then died. Now nothing works on the Chef. It will not even come on. Do you happen to have any idea what could be wrong? Is there a fuse in the Chef that can be replaced or is it dead?
Thanks,
Ken Phillips

I don't know how old your machine is, but we had a somewhatg similar experience on our 30-yo Chef. Took it to a repairer (Merrills of Colchester) who found out that the brushes had worn down. He is now trying to find a set of brushes from the wholesalers.
Get it looked at!
