Ford Focus Aerial Mount Removal?

I'm trying to remove the aerial mount from my Ford Focus due to a disagreement with a car wash, (never happened the previous 30 washes!!) I know I need to gain access from the roof trim inside the vehicle but can't see how the trim eases down. Do I need to remove the internal light cluster, and if so, how?

I found the hints below very useful, but when I got to the last screw I actually needed a Torx screwdriver, star-shaped. Maybe because it is an older model? Local garage let me use theirs for free! Feels great to have done this without using expensive Ford repairers. Thank you.

Ok, the garage door took off the mount on my husband's car, and I am wondering how easily this can be fixed. It took the whole piece off and pulled it out of the top of the car. Suggestions on how tough it's going to be to get the mount in the predrilled hole or does the liner have to come out? UGH, I am feeling HORRIBLE about it and need suggestions.

Just performed this job, 3 minutes, done exactly as described, make sure you open the light from the front and not the surrounds. but it worked beatifully, got the aerial and the base for 10 pounds from a scrappy, really quite pleased with myself.

Remove the inner part of the light above the front seats by easing the see through unit from the front middle -use a thin screwdriver between the inner/outer. This reveals the two Phillips screws that hold the outer case for the light. Remove the two screws.
My aerial base was held in by a star head bolt. I tried a 4mm hex but it would not work. The next size down is an imperial hex and that worked fine.

Thanks to Geoff Skelton I just managed to replace the base on my Focus.

I have to say, I easily unscrewed the base with just a screwdriver and only needed a little help from my husband to screw the new one on (my arms weren't long enough to hold the base and screw the nut).

The interior light is in two parts: the surround and the lens. Do not atempt to remove the surround, even though it might look tempting to pull the lip at the front (you will break it). Insert a scerwdriver blade in the small slot just at the front of the lens (between lens and surround) windscreen side and gently lever downward. The lens will pop out ot the surround, then gently ease away, this might need a bit of rocking. The surround can then be removed to give more access by loosening the two retaining screws. Access to the antenna base is still a bit restricted but possible. You will need a 4mm hex key to remove the antenna base from the roof.

Scatts, this is a pretty easy job if you have a small, angled pick. Just insert the point of the pick between the clear plastic light cluster and the grey plastic bezel that the light cluster is clipped into. Then carefully pry out the light cluster and un-plug it. The bezel is held in place by two screws that are accessible once the light cluster is out of the way.

The antenna mount is secured by a 10 mm bolt or nut, I believe, but it's been a while since i replace mine. Once you get the light out it becomes pretty obvious how to get the antenna mount off.
