my oil pressure is 50psi on engine start-up from cold and it remains at this pressure regardless of engine temperature. is this correct? and if so, how is this achieved?
Usually the oil pressure will drop after warm up to operating temp............if you want to check it install a mechanical oil pressure gauge and it will show you the truth ....
You proably have a electrical gauge in car ....might just be a bad sending unit
