puling to one side may be ball joints ???

hiya all i need a bit of help . i got a ford escort 16.cc m reg orion shape.. when driveing it it pulls to one side not all the time , when we jake the car up the driver side wheel moves from side to side the pasinger side dose not ?can this be the ball joints and if so can you tell me how to fit them ? you probably have got a ball joint gone possible the bottom, if so there is two ways of fixing it u can remove the wishbone and replace the hole item, or u can drill out the rivetes from the wishbone and just fit the joint using new bolts. if its the trackrod end, u will have to remove it from the hub and lossen the locking nut on the rack,and undo rod to remove.oh and the pulling to 1 side may be brakes, normally joints dont cause the pulling unless the car has been tracked with warn joints
