Whirlpool model ED25DQXDW05 - woke up this morning and the floor was covered with water and the water dispenser on refrigerator was spewing water like a gremlin was standing there holding on - how do i fix this? (obviously, i shut off the water supply to the refrigerator immediately)

My ED25TQXFW01 started doing the same thing this morning. Did you find a solution yet? I am thinking the high mineral content of my water has jambed the water valve open but I have not found where the valve is. When I find it, I am going to try to dissolve the calcium (minerals) with vinegar.
