just moved into house, with a Accentra alarm fitted, we have the code but the tamper light is on. cannot reset, or set the alarm. sorry do not have the manual. can anyone help please. the cost for a callout is £150.00 and then £65.00ph. please help. many thanks.

i have just fitted a g4 system and it will be one of the springs on the boxes( the alarm box cover) or the tamper switch on the bell box outside pretty easy to check

The system has a tamper fault. Either a circuit tamper - a bellbox tamper or keypad tamper. These can be bypassed inside the panel. Until the tamper fault is cleared the keypad will be locked out.
The £150 call out and £65 per hour seems very excessive. Shop around for quotes on yell.com or best bet select a company from www.ssaib.co.uk - select from list of registered companies by postcode.
