Knocking noise from rear wheel of 1997 corsa b?

There is a constant knocking noise from the rear (offside) wheel on my corsa b. The knocking noise is relative to the speed of the car and it only stops if I trun left. Going straight or turning right I get the noise. Even in reverse the knocking noise is still there. Can anyone give me an idea as to what it might be.

its the wheel bearings track probably indents in it from shards or metal and hitting pot holes but just replace both sides its easy to do if your smart enough wb if you need advice

Sounds like bad wheel bearings

could be a number of things... loose wheel nuts, loose or worn wheel bearings.
the important thing is get it sorted before it gets dangerous!
