How do I change the engineer code (or reset it)?

Hi, I have "rt" flashing on my alarm keypad, and according to your previous Questions/Answers, it sounds like I need the Engineer code, but the problem I have is that the company how installed it has gone and consequently I can't get this engineer code. So how can I reset this code or go around it to reset my alarm system? many thanks for you help.

"rt" is a code found on a Scantronic 9800 which means keypad tamper - you have entered an incorrect code too many times. You can clear this by entering a correct user code followed by the clear button. You dont need an engineers code for this as "engineer reset on tamper" is not an option on this panel.
