Hi Mr Barker,
You may already know by now, your dyson motor has a winding down and the only way to sort this is to replace the motor. I am currently repairing my DC07, and after searching for the best price on Google I'm going to purchase my YV-2200 motor from Sparesaver.com. They offer 2 similar motor's, one is a genuine part (£39.99) and the other an alternative make (£29.99), this is the one I intend to purchase myself. I also believe that the postage is free to the UK.
Regards,
Mike
