How can I fix Hoover wdm130 washing machine?

How do I change the hinge on my hoover wdm130 washing machine?

I've now done the job. The smaller screws on the inside of the door are Torx size T20. If you remove the two outer ones you can prize the door plastics apart until they separate. You can then get to where the hinge fits inside the door and replace the hinge.

It's easier than I probably made it sound. It only took about 10 or 15 minutes to replace the hinge.

Hi Frances.

It's pretty straight forward. You will need Torx screwdrivers. Remove the two Torx size T27 screws that hold the door to the washing machine. With the screws taken out, slide the door upwards slightly to release it.

The hinge is held inside the door. You will need to remove the four Torx (I think size T18) screws that are near the hinge. I think the door plastic will then open up enough to let you remove the hinge from the door. I might be wrong about this. I am replacing the hinge on my machine and just waiting for the part to arrive before I do the job. I will know better after that.

If you don't already have the part, you can order one from UK Whitegoods. I just ordered one for £5 plus £3 postage.

Good luck.
