my clutch?

my clutch pedal will engage when my pedal is almost up and the slightest dip of it puts it out of gear how can i adjust it or fix it please help ford mondeo 1998 1.8 td

The clutch on this mondeo is hydraulic it sound like the clutch has worn out or the piston has dislodged from its drive,
I recently had a new clutch fitted to my mondeo X reg 1.8TD cost me £300.00 unfortunatley unless you are exceptionaly good at mechanics i would suggest you ring round a few garages to get the best price

I beleive that these are self adjusting so it looks like a new clutch, but if you check whether the clutch is on a cable you may be able to adjust it there at the gearbox end
