my brake pedal has gone hard on my ford transit 2.0, 2002?

I was looking for the engine oil filter, found a case that looked as if it was housing the filter.got it undone, had a look what was behind it ,found not to be a filter, did have oil leak out and the cover seemd magnetic. refitted cover and now the break pedal is stiff and breaks aren't reacting.

Sounds like you have knocked off a vacum line to the brake booster making the brake pedal hard

Sounds to me like you need to get someone who knows that they are doing to take a look at this for you because you sound like a bit of a liability!
