what about the pressure clamps?

i am changing the front brakes on my 1997 ford escort and i am having probloms with the pressure clamp. i already got the brake pads off but how do i get the new ones on if the clamps are to tight?

remove the cap off the brake fluid reservoir then with a bar prise the actuators back into the housings check the fluid level top up as required
