sime 80 format boiler-no hot water?

Can anybody help my water no longer heats up. The radiators are working fine so i presume this can be fixed. We have had somebody around who first of all reckoned it was the mother board but after consulting some collegues now thinks its the thermostat. Yet he has never heard of a sime. My friend had the same problem and she was told it was sensor. The water is not even luke warm has been like this for a while now. What do you think it could be?

yes the pin moves out and activates the microswitch. Where s the diverter valve?

Thanks

Can't rule out a sensor aka thermistor without getting to play with it . However my money is on the likelihood that your diverter valve is malfunctioning.
A diaphragm replacement may be all that is required.
When you turn the tap on does the pin move out and activate the microswitch
