orange type snow flake lit on dash mondeo?

theres a orange like a snow flake light lit all the time on dash can any one tell me what its for ford mondeo

hi, susan the snow flake is to do with the temp out side,there is a orange and red, as the temp drops it tells u if its icey out side in the red and the orange its very cold within reason, if its on all the time even in the summer then the sencer at the front of the car has got dirty or loose,its right inside the bumper. hope it helps u.

The snowflake light is on constantly when the weather outside is below a certain temperature. I think below 5 degrees

yeah thats right.. orange if its cold.. and it shows red if it gets below freezing.

It can also mean that you have selected the Snow/Ice/Leaves position on your automatic gearbox.

Hi, If this has just lit up since the recent cold weather, it is a warning of possible ice road conditions. the colder the weather, the light will change to red. hope this helps.
