I am not trained can i fix my boiler myself?

I have been told the sensor on my boiler needs replacing, i have found the part i need on the web yet have no experience whats so ever in boilers. Is this an easy job for me to do or do i have to pay some body £200 to do do it for me?!

Speaking persomally I would say most peple are able to do more then they belive possible. The requirement for me are
Exzpenditure of time to quire the knowledge.
However it makes no sense if the tools to do the job are more expensive then contracting out doible so if you will not have a need to do it ever again.
