Thanks for the info. The machine was draining water and on start up took in water and turned the drum in ine direction only for a few seconds. I have removed the program switch unit and on the outsideat least, it looks OK. Is it possible to check the unit when it's detached from the machine, like putting 240v on the motor and checking if it turns at right speed. Would this prove anything ?
