The return pipe is hotter than the flow?

Hi
I have recently installed a glowworm flexicom system boiler 18sx, and i have discovered that the return pipe is getting hotter then the flow, and i think this effects the boiler as is cuts out when it has reached its required heat, but too soon before the radiators have reached their optimum, its baffeling me as i understand that the flow should be hotter?

If you can help me then that would be great?

thanks

vince

sorry vince, to find out flow and return turn the heating on.

I had this problem on a recently installed central heating system (One week old). The engineer called and found that the flow and return pipes had been connected the wrong way round. If you first identify from the installation manual which is the flow and which is the return, then turn the heating or hot water on ,the flow pipe should get hot first (the return pipe soon after) but you have to be quick when you feel the pipe.

Are you sure that you have got your flow and return pipe and boiler connections correctly identified and the right way round?
