Same boat. Did either of you find an answer? The types of gears are meant to strip if there is an excessive load so someone should have a replacement. I too don't want to send this thing to the landfill just for a simple gear.

I have the same TECHKO model SH2006PB and also have a stripped plastic gear. I so far have not been able to find parts. Techko apparently does not supply parts.
Is there and help out there???
