dash lights on pug 205 diesel 1989 not working?

put new bulbs in speedo /clock on peugeot 205 but still dont work checked fuses all ok any suggestions would be grateful.

Is there much gunk on the connections? Give it a spray with some switch cleaner, check that you have the correct bulbs, test if the socket area is live with a voltmeter...
