Fix Fault Myguide

all i did was to fit a new batt in my myguide 3100 satnave...now the picture is the wrong way round as if looking at it from the back..can anybody help...

i have a myguide 3100 that just keeps saying Hardware id error when switched in myguide have no phone number or no site to download from

The unit switches off after a few seconds, whether plugged into the car or into the mains. Could replacing the battery be the solution, if so, where does one obtain one and are they difficult to fit?
