My stairlift keeps stopping about 3/4 of the way down the stairs goes up ok have checked track etc if you can help would be grateful

how can I fix my motivator stairlift its been switched off for some ttime and looks like batterys have gone flat so replaced them but no dionosis lights have lit up any ideas
