Hey...back again.
The saga continues. I got ahold of Dodge, the took my info, but said my year is not included, The dodge dealer said...get this, $340.00 for a new fuel rail. I found a discount part supplier online, price $255.00 plus. These people are out of their minds !! I took the fuel rail off the engine, hmmm, that was fun.. i gave it a good wire brushing, turns out the thing is aluminum. It also "appears" that the leaking ends were soldered/welded on. I am debating soldering the crossover tube in place solid. i am not sure if taking the play out of the fuel tube system will come back to haunt me when i reassemble the tube and injectors back on the engine. Another thought is to de-solder the ends and see if i can replace the seals. Another thought, is to desolder the ends and replace threm with a fitting that has a 3/8 barb, and connect with 3/8(180 psi) injector hose and some clamps. The plot thickens...

Hi, I have a 1991 Grand Caravan with a 3.3. I to have the leaking seals on the fuel rail, i am glad i did not burn the thing up. The leak is so bad it had gas steaming of the manifiold, man I was lucky to smell it before it went up into flames... I have been searching, but have not found a "fuel rail seal recall' for this item. I would love to find it before I call the dealer again. It was already in for the abs recall. just curious, how much pressure goes through this line? if it is not more than 40 pounds or so, ya think it would be possible to cut off the ends and put on some pressure hose and a couple clamps? or, is this a tap session? Thanks, brucechynoweth@yahoo.com

Have you had the factory recall work done on the fuel rail seals yet? If not, the dealership may fix the leak when installing the new seals....
