I brought it to a service shop the first time to have it fixed, after being repaired the tv had a red cresent shape moon on the screen, he said it was burned into the lens ? anyways, I could live with that. The problem is two weeks after being repaired there was a power surge and now the tv does not work again. there is sound but has a black screen, is there somthing simple that I can check? a fuse , resistor, board ?

call the company back that just repaired it .Don"t assume it was a power surge.
