this is a xv-n312 JVC dvd player. I hit a button, and suddenly the picture split in half, and wavers. it won't to back to normal. what is wrong?

or ask jvc for advice - might be either a loose connection from dvd to tv or you have perhaps selcted ntsc instead of pal or made a small error in the setup.
