This may be teaching you to suck eggsbut are both rad valves open?

The radiator will fill up with only one valve open. But obvoiously there will be no circulation.

Failing that the system may require re balancing. You can do this by going to each radiator that is hot and turning the lockshield valve down by a couple of turns. This will reduce the flow of water to these rads and increase the flow pressure to the rads that are struggling.

Then again if you have a thermostatc rad valve then check it by removing the thermosttic head and check that the pin is not stuck down, you should be able to push on the pin to lower it and it should raise again by its self. If this does not happen then the pin may need freeing up or the valve changing.

Need to know, did you flush the radiator when you had it off the wall? when you bled the radiator concerned what colour was the water coming out of the valve? did you open up both taps, if so then you need to re-balance the system.
