Kenmore Series 80 Washer will not spin - plastic fragments in load?
My wife ran a load of laundry with pieces of a plastic bottle in the towels. The washer filled, agitated and drained. When the spin cycle came on, the washer made grinding noises. Now it will not spin.
I pulled the cap to the agitator, but may not have the tools to pull the full agitator (it is spring loaded).
Is there a particular place that the fragments may have stuck that would have caused the problem? Is there a fix known to anyone?
