volume wont turn up?

my thorn ct5122t fastext tv will not turn up, the light flashes when i press the control button but the volume will only move up 2 notches

It is probably in 'Hotel' mode, which restricts the volume level for use in Hotels & Guesthouses etc.

To switch it back to normal....

Press either Volume Up or Volume Down on the TV so the volume indicator is displayed. Then, while it is displayed, press the -/-- button on the Remote Control.
