At some point my Creative Zen Touch became corrupted. It would freeze, I would have to re-boot it, and that would not always work.
Well I deided that I wanted to fix it right. I connected it to the computer, formatted it, and downloaded some updates from the Creative web site.
Well now, my computer won't recognize it, no matter what USB cable I use. The player itself will not come out of recovery mode. It is out of warranty, so Creative will only answer questions on line for a fee now.
If anyone has any answers or ideas I would appreciate them.

OMG! dude my freaking Creative ZEN:M 60gig is in the same boat. dude i have like 40 gig free on it and i really wanna use it but nothing will recognize it anymore. my xbox, laptop, nor my desktop. and that cuz it would work sweet with everything. WTF is going on with creative. I been emailing them and they keep telling me to trouble shoot the st*pid thing but that makes no sense cuz how can you do that if the computer can not recognize or realize its connected to it. Im so piss*d with creative. I really thought they were a good company and would be like hey send it back and we will fix it. no they want you do troublshoot everything. WTF CREATIVE!

I am exactly in the same boat as you're in, except that my mp3 player freezes at the Zen Touch screen. Plus, I keep hearing some strange sound in the player as if its trying to load but can't. I dunno what to do, either. Someone help us!!
