Screen replacement?

My dear wife has tried to move our Panasonic TX-32LXD60A LCD TV and dropped it. The screen has what looks like 3 bullet holes and a few horizontal & vertical straight coloured lines, but no picture. The outer & inner skins appear intact and I wonder if anyone knows if the screen can be replaced and roughly how much it would cost? As the TV is only about 6 months old it might make sense to repair it, if the costs were reasonable. Any help you can give would be gratefully received.
Thank you,
Paul (Bolton Nr Manchester)

Before you get into any of this check your household insurance policy. If you are covered for accidental damage then you ought to be able to make a claim in which case the details of what you need to do are up to the insurance company.

Do NOT delay reporting this.... insurance companies will seize any excuse to not pay up!
