How can I fix my XMS-7600 dvd player?

I have a XMS-7600 DVD Player and a while ago it started to display "no disc" message and I fixed it. Just few days later my DVD Player does not work anymore. When I turned on the power, only the optical laser at the back of the DVD Player is on and the rest, nothing else is working. Pls help me fix my DVD Player. The serial no. is XMS 760004032493 and the model number is XMS-7600. Urgent Pls

hi mate,i was bored tonight so i decided to see what was wrong with my dvd player,by chance its the same as yours.and by chance i find this site.wow!!first turn power off! Then I took every screw out that i could see on the outside then to lift off cover u need to lift up at the back first.be careful and patient.,I unplugged(no power on)the actual player from a 10cm electronic tape on right side.be careful cas it locks into a holder.once u have done this u can turn the plastic wheel on top of the player itself, jus turn a few times,if it spins its good. There is a metal plate on top,if there is an obstruction it may be under the plate in my case it was some sticky tape,go figure!Now...heres the miracle(hope it works for u too).Plug bac in the electronic tape be careful not to bust the pins on the holder, plug in the power and put disc in player.turn power on and press play.mine worked ,after all i have no electronic experience whatsoever,so i was shocked when it worked.Im now watching a dvd!!!!
