No heating or hot water?

My optima 700 ferroli boiler serial no 000428 is not working. for a while when the heating wasn't on we were not getting any hot water and only when heating was on did we have water. Now, this morning we are not getting either. Can anyone advise what the problem could be?

diane, i have been having the same problem until recently, is your hot water pressure really bad?
my boiler needed a good service, everything about it needed cleaning as all the internals were clogged, now the water is perfect (but our plumber has buggered up the heating side now)

1) you must have water in the system for it to work (1bar min )
2) without a boiler diagram i would look at the diapham on the hot water activation section of the boiler
call service agent as you must be regersted to repair the unit
