i cant burn any cds on my burner. my burner is a optiarc ad7530 vista

Right, is it just a specific cd/ are you able to burn any dvd's, is it an old burner or a fairly recent burner.

have you got a xp system and tried to burn anything with the burner on the xp system as it could be that you need to update the burner with a vista firewire.
