Paper Jam Error Message?

My Canon PIXMA MP 150 continues to show an error message stating there is a paper jam. I have not located any paper jamed in the printer. When I manually insert a sheet into the feeder it will roll through with no problem. Meanwhile, the printer will not copy or scan with the error message. How can I fix this? Your advice is valued. Thank you.

Unplug your printer from power outlet, plug back into outlet. If this doesn't help; contact Canon, someone there might walk you through a "hard re-set'.

get a epson printer. ink cartridges are much cheaper and they are more reliable.
