I have sparks and gas but the boiler often takes up to 10 cycles to light. This is intermittent, but more often than not now. Always lights with a match !

If you have a balanced flue, often the draught flowing through it makes lighting difficult - however its possible that the gas jet is just a little too far from the spark igniter - and this gap is adjustable, but you'll need to speak to a corgi gas man to have it set.
