When I switch my GHD straightners on the LED flashes once then goes off. Has anyone any idea what the fault is

Mark sorry not my orginal question but i see you can fix GHD's? my wire on the small element has broken. easy to fix? or need some extra parts?

if you're sure its not the wire , dismantle and pull on the two wires that go into the ceramic plates, you can do this quite hard, could be a burnt fuse wire that is still touching ,othr than that you'd need to send it to me, i charge 20 quid for all repairs,could be a circut board too,they are easy to fix if you have the parts and know what's wrong.
