Vehicle came back from the garage asking for the radio code, tried 0000 and 1234 and nothing. Kia dealership says this model shouldn't require a code and don't have a fix

i put a cd in to be played the display came up with reading and the next thing i know the radio turned off. i cant get it to switch back on. it wont even let me take the cd out.
