How can I fix my Hotpoint Aquarius DWF31 dishwasher?

My Hotpoint DWF31 dishwasher is stuck in CONTINUOUS DRAIN mode.
I have tried resetting the programme controller by cancelling the active programme, but although the programme appears to be cancelled (0 mins displayed) the drain pump continues to run.
Anyone have any ideas please?

That actually works! Had the same problem, but be prepared to mop the floor after you tip it back as a fair bit of water comes out
