Can I lift up a uPVC door to fit tiles underneath?

I want to tile my kitchen floor but the uPVC door is too low & so won't open when the tiles are down. Is there a way to remedy this or will I have to buy a new door?

A difficult one this - however it is possible to plane off the ribs on the door bottom, but you only get 5mm or so. Failing this, the door will have to be lifted up complete with its frame, I'm afraid.
