I have numerous vertical, coloured lines across the entire screen of my HP Pavilion 8007ea laptop computer. I would ask how I remove these lines, and what is causing this problem, please?

There are 2 likely causes for this problem. 1, the screen is damaged. 2, there is a problem with the connection between the screen and the motherboard. The latter is the most likely.

You can't simply remove the lines as there is no software setting that would deliberately corrupt your display. You would have to dismantle the machine to check the connection to both motherboard and screen, checking the cable between for damage.
