Hello.

I have a Panasonic LCD TV 26" (don't remember the model, maybe TX26LXD70). When i'm watching tv suddenly the remote control stops working. I cannot change the volume or turn it off from the remote control. None of the buttons work. Have to get up to do so. I have tried to change the batteries but it doesn't work.
I think the problem is with the remote control.

Any suggestion on how to go about this?

Do try the digital camera as it will show you if your remote is sending a signal or not.No signal obviously the remote has died. If you see a flashing light then you have a different problem.

I have had the same thing happen to me with my toshiba lcd tv. Changed the batteries etc but nothing. Someone told me to look through my mobile phone camera at the end of the remote whilest pressing the buttons to see if there is a flashing light.I tried this and no nothing happens. I'm currently battling with Amazon/ toshiba for a replacement control as i have only had the tv 4 weeks. Is there anything i can do to mend it??

I was trying to watch Twilight and I like tryed 10 times but it would not work. I got so mad I through it across the room and you know what it worked again.

We have a Magnovox LCD doing the same thing. If we turn the TV off for awhile and turn it back on the remote works again. We have changed to batteries several times, even bought a new remote. Did the same thing. It has to be something with the TV, of course the warranty just ended on it!
